Chronic Illness Mindset Writer

Life with chronic illness if filled with uncertainty, but you've learned to handle that way better than you think. And I want to help you reclaim that part of you that chronic illness tried to steal. I've always been an active person; dance, horses, skating, hiking. I know what it's like to lose track of what it feels like to be you. On this site, I want to show you real examples, actionable strategies, and working within your limits, so you know it's possible to find that spark for life you've been missing since your diagnosis.

After spending 9 years battling Ménière's Disease and related invisible health challenges, I had completely lost myself. I went from being an active cowgirl to someone who couldn't get out of bed for days. Sometimes, when you hit the bottom of the barrel, you realize that staying there may cost you your life. That's when I started to look for ways, strategies to retake those parts of myself that make me who I am. This was not a short journey, this took years of trial and error, years of stumbling, crying, losing, and failing. But then I made a come back. I learned to rebuild my life with chronic illness baked in to it, learned to accept flexible timelines and changing plans, and learned to show up as me every day.

What I Write About

The Gap Between Surviving and Living:

At some point you have to start thinking beyond dragging your body from point A to point B. If you're here, you're probably already thinking about how to start taking active steps in your life. Through my blog and digital products, I help you explore the space between your limitations and your spirit.

For Equestrians with Chronic Illness:

I share strategies for safely returning to horses after health setbacks, how to create sustainable goals that work with unpredictable energy, and manage the mental game when your brain is already working overtime.

For Anyone Ready to Reclaim their Spark:

I document what it looks like to pursue dreams with a body that doesn't cooperated on a schedule. From working with unpredictable energy to redefining what strong and resilient mean. I aim to inspire, motivate, and change your mindset on your own limitations.

My Approach

This isn't about toxic positivity or pushing through pain. It's about honest, practical strategies for working with your chronic illness instead of against it. It's an honest, practical exploration of what happens when you refuse to stay down. I share the tools I'm using, adaptations I'm making, and the moments when everything falls apart—because that's where the real learning happens.

Whether you're dreaming of getting back to horses, or ready to start physical activities again, or simply wanting to feel like yourself through living life your way—I want to help you find that roadmap you need to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

Currently embarking on my own wild adventure: learning moutned archery with a broken balance system. Follow along as I prove that chronically ill doesn't mean dreams have to die... They just might look different than we originally planned.
